For anyone who would give their eye teeth for a virgin Civil War site then you might just find one in here. These are diaries and journals written by the soldiers themselves. Sometimes they give detailed descriptions of where they camped or made winter quarters. When you read these journals, keep a note pad and pen to write down anything that smells like a treasure site.
