So while metal detecting a town that had gotten ransacked by the union army in Louisiana I came across this nice piece of lead and was wondering if it could have been a projectile, it's badly disfigured like it was round and made impact it also weighs 16.9 grams by my scale.. If you need any other info just ask and I'll get it

I've dug some of those in various sizes in Union campsites.I thought thew were hammered flat and used for poker chips, by the troops.
