One Ringer ID?

Hey guys,

I dug this about a mile from General (then a Captain) Pickett's house, here in Bellingham, Washington (he left here after things got hairy on the east coast). It was about 6 inches down, in the oldest park in town. Can I get some ID help on this? I would surely like to have found a minie ball on the West Coast.

Could it be a 44 cal or larger? Great find.

Maybe a 52 caliber for Sharps carbine. Accurate measurements would help get you a correct ID.
