Need a Meter Reader's CW hunting input....

    Hello,
Just got a DFX about a month and a half ago. I'm in the Jacksonville Florida area. I'm more interested in hunting for Civil War artifacts if possible. I was wondering if I could ask you folks what are good settings, programs and such for this type of detecting. I'd also like to ask for some input as to what VDI numbers and such that I'd might be looking for. Of course I know if you want to be real sure of something then to dig it. But I thought maybe I'd see if there was a general standard or something like that. I know the ground here in Florida isn't the same as Virginia.

Welcome to the forum.I can't offer you any advice as far as settings for the DFX go but I would suggest that you try posting here-http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php/board,212.0.htmlin the White's forum. You'll probably have better luck there.Good luck.
