Bushwackers and Jayhawkers

During the Civil War, both sides North and South had their Robbers sent by Government plus many Rogues who took it upon themselves to steal the opposite sides supplies and wealth, just like Privateers, Buccaneers and Pirates did. Sponsored by the Government, some going rogue for whatever reason.
These Jayhawkers and Bushwackers robbed stage coaches, trains, military compounds, city banks and individual travelers even. War after all is said and done is about 'Looting' anyways isn't it? Although most of the treasures were recovered I am sure, some of the hidden treasures were never recovered because their owners were killed. I don't believe Jesse James gang left anything behind unless it was a personal stash of the members who were killed. Those Bushwackers and Jayhawkers Operated heavily around Missouri area including Kansas, Arkansas and neighboring States. The practice during the Civil War was to bury the wealth, booby trap it and protect the area. When they were overran and killed sometimes left treasure locations unknown and unclaimed. I was just wondering if anyone knew information about the Robberies? Where they happened and what was stolen, so that we can make a data base to analyze to help narrow down the searching areas. Ex. If a Bank was robbed in Springfield, we can pretty much rule out that the stolen loot was buried in Springfield right?

I have a very good potential treasure site in Missouri. Anyone interested? I don't have enough time in the area left to finish what I barely started.

I ran out of time and am leaving area. I changed my mind and I think I want to do it myself later anyways. I will keep you guys in mind as potential partners when I do. Good luck everyone. I will be off looking for Forest Fenn's treasure box for awhile. I think someday I shall return and dig for the possible Bushwacker's treasure. Not positive it's there, but big stones look broken off from lower area. That's a good sign. I dug a few inches and found a D, P and a skinny heart atone all pointing same angle. Like Japanese code, but Japanese used fatter hearts.
