22 grams is 339 grains. Grains are what bullets are weighed in. That's a big bullet if it weighs that much. I am guessing 45-70 or something in that area...d2

I do believe d2 is correct.
As for time period ,1870-1920???
Just a Wild Guess from a Clouded Mind LOL

It still will look good in a "Found"bullet Display.

The bullet looks like a civil war era.
Looks like a Yankee bullet.

We live & we learn, at first I thought a Civil War Bullets were Round 'Musket' Balls .

Time has proven me wrong.
