"Original Civil War Confederate Oval Egg Shape Buckle And Sword Belt as found at a recent Local Estate. The buckle looks to be red brass with its hooks dark color and the hooks are rusty. The leather belt is rough and has dry places but complete. You can see the letters CS boldly on its face."

I can't tell about this exact one, but stamped copper ones were made in the 1960's for reenactors. I have some of the reference books on these and also saw it for sale. Not bidding.
