"Original Civil War Confederate Oval Egg Shape Buckle And Sword Belt as found at a recent Local Estate. The buckle looks to be red brass with its hooks dark color and the hooks are rusty. I can't tell about this exact one, but stamped copper ones were made in the 1960's for reenactors. I have some of the reference books on these and also saw it for sale. Not bidding.
