Dag gone, I must have missed a spot. There should be some brass with all that lead. SWEET!

WOW man, that's a haul!

Congrats on all of the goodies. Looks like you got a bunch of .69 drops, those are my favorites.

Good luck!

I've hunted this spot for 15 years. Not one plate has been found there. I'm hoping one or two will see the day of light soon. Thanks buddy. HH

An explosive bullet has been on my wish list for quite some time. Gardiner's name and the date 8-5-63 should be in raised letters around the bullet, I would love to see photos of that if you can get them.

I've dug 8 so far. I have 7 in my collection. I traded one for a breast plate I saw dug at a 2nd corps camp. I've found them at two different spots.

I'll try to get some photos of them tonight. Some of them still have the letters on them.

These are from my last few hunts over the last couple weekends. I found a couple more Gardiner explosive bullets too. All of the finds are Gettysburg campaign. The explosive bullets are from a camp before the battle. The rest are retreat camps for Gettysburg. HH & Joe you didn't get them all lol.

Now that's the way you Roll.
2 More Explosive Gardner's ??? WOW! I recall you finding some in the past.

Also a way of putting a good amount of $ in yr pocket ( If you ever have to sell ) Those things are getting up there in price.

Many other nice finds as well , I'm still brass-less here so don't feel bad .

I do see a couple green thingies don't I .?

These are the last Gardiner explosive bullets I found. You can see some writing on them. I'll get better pictures later. 15270256205100.jpg

Thanks for posting photos of the lettering. Wow, those are nice. I want to dig one even more now. Can't imagine being shot by one and it exploded what that must have been like. Not many people can say they've dug an explosive bullet either and I'm one of those. lol
