Gun barrel???

I found this about 10 ft from a musket barrel yesterday water hunting. It looks like a barrel with front sight and part of rear sight sorry that pics are not the best. But any help would be appreciated..thanks

I’m thinking a converted Hall’s rifle, they were a box-lock of sorts, let me see if I can find a good picture of the action.

Sorry ,I missed page 2 with the Hall’s rifle ID, oooooooops, anyway, I agree with those guys.

I have a collector friend that has a Hall’s. They were built in Harpers Ferry WV. (That’s where he lives) it was a foundry on the Shenandoah side of Harpers Ferry. There aren’t many around. The loading block came out the top unlike the Burnside but the bullet looks the same. I’m 99% sure what u have there is a Hall. No mistaken the barrel block. The Hall was pretty heavy
