Great article and History there. Always enjoy reading the accounts of the old vets and their view on the war. Thanks for sharing this with us. One of my favorite all time books on the War of Northern Aggression is "Company Aytch" by Sam Watkins. A great read if you've never read it. This is a true account of that horrible war by a front and center Johnny Reb from Tennessee and the Army of Tennessee, Confederate States Army. Or Confetrit', as the old vets pronounced it.
