That was and still is a rich CW environment for relics. I found my first US box plate right there in Funkstown. Great looking saves FF1

FF1, that is an impressive collection of CW saved History. Very Well done. Maryland and Virginia both still have great amounts of relics being found. The only two U.S.box plates I have in my collection were sent to me by one of my older cousins who lived in Alexandria,Virginia. One was found in the Chancellorsville battlefield area, and the other from the Harper's Ferry aerea. These were most appreciated. I have seen 4 dug through the years, but I have yet to find one myself.

My best stuff has been found In PA, not far from the Maryland line. Next best is in Maryland, and then Virginia in that order.

What a nice historic display with relics from both sides & a great representation of the horrors that happened in that area.

    Thanks for posting.

As I am finding , In life we begin having the Blissful happiness & the Wonder & innocence of a Child, then fall Quickly, then spend the rest of our lives trying to reach that point where we began ,through Pleasure , Fame, & Materials but Only 'Through true faith in Jesus , can we find Prefect Happiness or true Meaning in our Short lives on this Beautiful Earth filled with both the Light of Pure goodness & The Darkness of Pure Evil. That is awesome! I used to live near Hagerstown, that's where we spent most of our days in the summer.
