Could be a S&W model 1 .22 cal or a model 2 .32 cal. Early rimfires had no headstamp. No measurements make it guesswork.

I agree ..it looks like a 22. rimfire , but could be larger , I have dug 22 bullet's from a Calvary camp , & hope I saved the "short" cases .

Nice complete cartridge to find . Also it's cool to see yr site is still giving up relics .
