    civil war sites in texas

    yes i had a question,hope some1 can answer,
    was there ever any civil war battles fought in texas?
    hope to hear from some1 soon.

    There were a handful of battles in Texas.? They were: the first and second Battles of Sabine Pass, the first and second Battles of Galveston, and the Battle of Palmito Ranch.? Compared to the really big battles elsewhere, these were relatively minor affairs, although if you were one of the ones killed, you'd probably fail to see what was minor about it.? Here's a link to a website where they obviously want to sell stuff, but it has a map of the battle locations, as well as a brief summary of each battle.
