need some Tn civil war advice

i got permissions ot hunt alot of land where I live. anyone ever ehard of some good sites for CW there and how can you tell if a place was a CW site

Google your area and then find the order of battle information, go get a topographical map and then compare it to the order of battle maps. Look at google maps and click on the satellite view section and look for terrain on the maps. Ask someone to help you and go with you.

There was a fair sized battle at Hopkinsville KY and there should be a good sized camp area around Clarksville, TN. Keep in mind that Old hwy 41 was the major road from Nashville all the way to Vincinnes, IN during the civil war years, Nashville was a major center during the CW and there were troop movements in all directions.
