The Battle of Spanish Fort continues to give

We had a great day searching the confederate works on private property in Spanish Fort. We found two cleaners (not shown), a 3 ringer and another that I don't know the make. We also found a huge canonball fragment. We were right by the river so I will be curious if the size and weight would lean towards a naval shot.

A great day with all the kids and a homeowner who was great!!!

Awesome Michael!!!!! Looks like persistence paid off! That shell fragment looks to be in the 8-10 pounder range which would probably be about right for any shallow water vessels that the Union may have put up river. Good stuff man!!!!!
