A little help with this Silver Eagle pleas

I have a question please...I deal Texas Holdem for a living and about three or four months ago a player gave me an S-Proof bicentennial Eisenhower Silver Dollar as a tip, I posted a photo here on Tnet. So tonight the same player gives me this 2005 Silver Eagle. He is a collector and he knows I like coins. Very cool, I posted photos below.

In the third photo is a detail of the obverse of this coin and there are 3 surface scratches on it that mar it's beauty.

So my question is this...given that this bullion coin has no numismatic value and is and will probably always be worth whatever an ounce of silver is worth...can I do anything to fix this problem so that it presents better?

Thank for looking and for any advice you have.

    Hello Rob

Since the coin does not have any numismatic value why would you want to remove the scratches. Anything, I repeat anything that you do to try to remove the scratches will only make it less beautiful, you cannot repair something like this by yourself. If you want it done find a professional to do it. That's my opinion anyway. I think it is good the way it is!

Are you sure that the scratches are on the coin itself and not on the plastic case? Not to offend you with such an elementary question but a friend of mine was going to clean some one ounce silver rounds from a casino in Biloxithat had been given to him and he asked me the same question. When I inspected them closely, all the scratches were on the cases and not the tokens. All he had to do was change out the cases!

Don't discount the bullion coins not having numismatic value. Obviously, the coin mentioned won't have value beyond the silver content due to the scratches. MS67 and higher eagles can fetch a handsome price.
