    Electrolysis question

I am making an electrolysis device made with a cell phone charger. The output is 5.1v and .5 amps. Another one I am making is 5v and .8 amps. I know it will take a long time to work but will the higher amperage cause any issues with coins and Iron objects? I am figuring since it is such low voltage it should be ok. What is the communities opinion?

    Re: Electrolysis question

Also for the salt water portion of electrolysis, can I just use ocean water instead of mixing up a batch of regular water? or is the salinity too high of salt water?
