    What type of paint?

    I've gotten around to cleaning some axe heads and it looks like everything here is coated with some type of paint to make it look nicer/ preserve it. Any particular brand and where to find it please

    Buy a quart of low gloss lacquer or varnish. I've done that for years and the iron won't rust.
