    My 1st Real Try At Electrolysis..Before & After

    I dug this modern hatchet head in an old dried up stream bed and decided to use it as a practice piece. I used a 12V, 4 amp power supply and cooked it for 4 hrs. in a baking soda electrolyte.

    Use some water-soluable hairspray to prevent rust from forming. This can be done, even on more valuable items because the water-soluable hairspray can easily be washed off if need be and does not harm the object. Cheap priced hairspray can be found in any discount store.
