peroxide and 2 minutes?

I took some Peroxide, put in the Microwave for two Minutes and then dropped in some old wheaties, I see the bubbles and cleaning In Process, has anyone ever added Salt?, Should I let it soak overnight?? it just seems to ba taking a long time thanks

I usually let my coins boil in it for about a minute each side, that should loosen up the crud so a toothpick will take it right off. Hope this helps.
