    way to peserve a pewter/lead seal?

    like some kind of wax?
    i dont want it to deteriate

    50/50 Elmers glue and water. Paint it on and dry.

    You don't have to preserve a lead seal. It will easily out last you!

    Yep IP is right about the lead The 50/50 mix of elmers glue and water , Hill Billy mentioned, will do well on pewter though
