    MY WHEATIES

I was thinking just the other day about why copper coins wear and look the way they do. after intensive thought experiments. Here's the results.

    Re: MY WHEATIES

I figure the rolling around in your pockets make them look like they do.. HMMM, pocket lint... I gathered enough dryer lint to fill the tumbler about 3/4 full and pulled it into smaller pieces (use a dustmask) Wheaties and water... That's it!!! No detergent, acid, caustic, or anything else... Better results could have been obtained by sorting them into 3 or 4 color categories.. Run for a day or two and check.. Pull out the ones that are done to your liking.. Wonder why I didn't think of it before...

Crushed walnut shells dry work very well and don't beat the crap out of them like water and aggregate. I just don't have the time to go around asking everyone to clean out their belly buttons for me to clean a few pennies.
