    Data

Hello, recently, Ive been looking for a way to get the tuff patina off. Here is my data.

    Distilled water-
it takes way too long and costly. use only on best coins.

    Olive oil-
    haven't tried, after results

    electrolysis-
does very little under low voltage...take patience

    CLR or cheaper counterpart-
Very effective with any grime. It will clean patina in about a minute, and is cost effective. However, it will color the coin a dull red from what i have seen. However, this can MOST LIKELY be removed with brasso or other polish. Very effective on new pennies

    Brasso-
Good for fine polishing....will give high luster.

I Will up ate later if asked.
