    This is a trick my wife showed me...

    Take a glass bowl. Fill it half way with water and heat the water in a microwave till its good and hot. Put in a piece of aluminum foil and the the Arm and hammer washing soda.
    Put a silver coin or jewelry in and make sure its touching the foil. It will come clean without scrubbing or rubbing.
    This is how she cleans her silver jewelry. Works great...

    Yes, and I see people over and over giving this method and say baking soda! Washing soda is correct.

    IP is right. Washing Soda is Sodium Carbonate. Baking Soda is Sodium Bicarbonate.
