    any tips on cleaning crotal bells?

    just wondering what results anyone had. I was thinking about just soaking them in A hot cleaning solution, but I also want to keep the patina.
    every minute not detecting, is a wasted minute.

    I've dug about a half-dozen or so, and I tumbled a couple. They turned out ok, for me.
