    What Do You Do To Clean Coins ??

    I have been into this MDing hobby now for about 3 months. I have tried several diiferent methods to clean my coins but I am not quite yet satisfied. I have used electrolisis and was not much impressed ( maybe not quite using enough voltage - had a 12 v transformer ). The current way I clean my coins is to throw them in a rock tumbler with medium grade grit and it seems to work pretty good but leaves the coins dull looking. Soooooooo what do you use ??
    Best finds so far ... 10K & 14K gold ring, 1 troy ounce .999 pure silver, 1876 & (2) 1907 indian head, & a 1977 Kennedy half dollar, 1952 Franklin Half Dollar, 1943 & '43 Merc Dime

    I use a dual tumbler with a little dish soap and aquarium gravel. Works good for me!

    I tumble my clad in straight vinegar. It makes the Quarters, nickels & dimes look like new!
