I search YouTube for videos about metal working methods for backyard auto body repairs and crafty things such as using cans of spray paint to product beautiful pictures.
Well, a couple of days ago, I came across some vids about de-rusting autobody parts with a material that is completely safe for the user as well as the item being cleaned. It is MOLASSES, but not just any kind of molasses. The kind used is the agricultural kind used on farms to mix with dry feeds for cattle. It can be found at farm co-ops and is not too expensive. The "formula" for the de-rusting solution is mixing 1 part molasses to 9 parts of water. This one guy was using a metal watering tub full of the mixture to take the rust off of some car fenders and hood for a car he was restoring.
