Was watching American Restoration last night and they came up with a question of how do you clean oxidation off of copper. The answer was ketchup. With the vinegar and acid from the tomatos it only took a short time and the penny he used was completely clean on the edge he had put in the ketchup.Hope this helps someone.

Yea I tried it also.Works pretty good on the zinc but nut as well on the old ones.I am sure it has its place at times for nooks and crannies.Yep a little messy!
