Electrolysis done on Two Iron Trivets - Before and After Pics ADDED:Two Irons

I am very happy with the results, now I am doing an iron to place on top of each trivet for a display.

I am fairly certain since I roughly know the age of the site where I found the small iron trivet, and that it is most likely around 1800 era, but the second larger iron trivet I do not remember when or where I found it. But looking at its crudeness and what appears to be a TUDOR ROSE on the handle, I am now thinking it is possibly mid 1700's, any thoughts by anybody. No makers marks on either trivet.

Those turned out very nicely, Don. Look almost-go0d-as-new I like this method myself. Check out what I did to the fork. http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.p...c,65117.0.html

They cleaned up nice, I had no idea how good electrolysis worked until I tried it.
