Great question! Here are some answers.

Silver coins, don't rub them or try to remove the dirt in the field, except by blasting it with water (TOUCHLESS!)
I detail the silver cleaning method here about 3 minutes into this video:



If it is a large cent or other copper coin, this topic will give you excellent ideas:

How did you dry you seated? Just leave it sit out? I would think during it off with a towel might scratch it. Thanks for sharing and that's a beautiful coin.
