I am looking for a little advice. I found a metal badge type thing that is in pretty bad shape (can't get camera to work right now so no pictures). It is some type of badge dealing with a "Pacific Exhibition" and there is a lot more that is unintelligible. Any advice on how best to clean it?...Brad

allot depends on just how bad it is.
you could try a Pencil or Ink eraser if it is just covered in light crud.
if it is heavy with metal cancer growing on it, you may need electrolysis to loosen it up.

your gonna need to get that camera working, and get plenty of clear pics posted

I've used ketchup to clean junk. Light application, let dry and rinse.

Thanks. I should have time to get some pictures up this weekend. It is pretty beaten up. I have been soaking it in olive oil as some have suggested I'll work on it and post pictures by Saturday...Brad
