I've dug up a Cannon - now I need to clean it!

I've detected and dug a target that turns out to be a 7ft cannon!!
It's on land and has never been in the ocean but close to it.

It's very rusty and while I've cleaned many items with electrolysis before. I've never done this big!!

Any tips on what size set up to use - power / amps / cable size / power supply etc?
What could I use as a container??

A makeshift frame lined with plastic sheeting will make a tank. I don't have a clue about the current needs for something that large. Great find!

I agree with phishfarmer, I was thinking build a wood box and line it with the black plastic used for lining ponds\ fountain, but the canon can not lay directly on top of it because will perforate the plastic by its shear weight.
