    To Tarnished

I went to my credit union to cash in my findings for the year. they looked in the bag and said they would not accept it, the coins were to tarnished. Not to dirty to tarnished. The teller told me to take them home and soak them in coak to clean them. I took my bag down the road to the bank to cash them in and they had no problem.

    Re: To Tarnished

I have never had this problem as when I finish tumbling my clad it looks as good as new. I also use the coin star at my credit union so there is no fuss with a person and they only charge 3-4 percent instead of the usual 9-10 percent at the grocery store.
