    cleaning semi key date wheats

I have found a 1914D and took it to a coin dealer, said in that condition he would go a Benjamin...The more he looked at it ,said if i could get it cleaner it could possibly go for the 350 -450 range ..His opinion was it was lost in xf-au. Already tried ultrasonic...My question the potato method TO ALL NEVER USE TOBASCO !!!!! I tried it on common copper pennies came away with copper disc...

no, it mostly depends on the type of corrosion...the best would have to be the hydrogen peroxide method....theres a post on the forum about it
