    I killed a buffalo...any suggestions

Was in a hurry and not paying attantion, and messed up one of my coins. After removing a merc and an old silver pin, I dumped a bunch of clad from a trip to the park into washing soda to get some grime off...I forgot about the 1935 Buffalo nickel. Well in it went with the clad into the hot water for a stir...and when I took out the coins and saw the buff in there I was pissed. It is now all "red" and some of the dark coating is gone on one side and it looks like crap....Is there anything I can do to "fix" it? Probably not, but I figured I would ask.

What really pissed me off is that it has great detail and was one of the nicer ones I have found.
