My wife's Grandfather passed away this year, and left us his grandfather clock. It is supposedly at least 50-60 years old. Just wondering if anyone could give me background info on it. The mechanism had not been properly maintained so it is getting replaced. Weights, pendulum, and chains are also getting cleaned. It normally has 3 brass weights. There are a series of numbers/letters on the back, 373 on the left and 72 on the right (which I think could be the manufacture year, but I have been assured by wife's family it is not.) Thanks in advance for any information you can provide! Couldn't get pictures to post, but here is a link to them, http://imgur.com/a/wxLne
