Can you get a better pic of the face of the clock? closeup? That might help.

If there isn't a brand name on dial, you can take the
wood side off near movement and maybe see the make.
There are so many clocks that were made it is hard to
tell the make. Looks like maybe 1970's to 1980's.
Running and chiming correctly, you got a bargain.

$3000?! Holy smokes!

Don't get too excited just yet. Many newer clocks are fashioned to resemble their antique counterparts. Here is a link that might help: http://www.antiqueclockspriceguide.com/manufwithmodels.php

Yours screams Howard Miller and here is a similar if not exact match:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Howard-Miller-G...tem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item43a098093b
(since ePay links only work for a short time, here is a capture from the ad)

Regardless, if the thing works and you got it for $25.00, you STOLE it! Kudos to you :icon_thumleft:

You stole it! Triple chime movement wooden pendlum, I build grandfather about $300.00 bucks for the movement. I would put it at 20 years or older, check the movement for markings.
