Smith Lake Hunt; October

Anyone going? Although I'm not terribly interested in seeded hunts, I would love to go, if nothing else but to meet and chat with other local folks who hunt. Who's going?

My friend, Mike in Bama is a member of the Warrior Basin club that hold that event. It's a good event lottsa silver for the diggin. relics.

It's Oct. 8 and 9 up at the lake beach and a joining field there to hunt on. If you can make it you should attend this hunt..

We are having one in Nov. 14, It's for club members and one friend, fee will be $ 15.00 per person / per paid. We will have a field to hunt in
down by the river, there will be coins, CW relics, prize tokens for other cool stuff ( books, Mags, gift certificates ) will start at 7:00 am on the
dot. We have a couple of old home sites to hunt there to. The first hunt is a seeded hunt, the home sites are from the turn of the centry

ALL YOU HAVE DO IS BECOME A MEMBER OF THE CLUB, ATTEND SOME MEETINGS ( THEY ARE FUN ), PAY FOR THE FEE, HUNT TILL YOU DROP.

It's $150.00. For adult 7/1/09 - 9/30/2009 . They have a Silver Hunt and a Relic Hunt which are extra. I'm going with the basic hunt package for 150 bucks. Looks like fun , even for a planted hunt. Besides, it will be my first Hunt in Alabama ! Making the check out as we speak

Ok, ya'll. Looks like this weekend is the Smith Lake hunt! Who all's going? I can't decide if I should go Friday evening or Saturday.

Made it up to the hunt for a bit on Sunday and didn't see any one of youz! Did meet Mike's wife and had a great chat with EddieB and some of the others there. Also met Mr. Self......great story teller!

Yeah, they had a pretty good crowd despite the tornado warnings and rain the day before. :P
