I am new to metal detecting ( I have never owned one or used one been reading your forums and you tubing them.) I love Jeeping and have decided to add another hobby to it.
I was thinking about getting a Tesoro Lobo and looking for gold and other things. I know my area has a lot of iron in the sand. There is a large amount of old gold mines in my area
A Lobo is about my max price range what do you guys think?
Any feed back would be appreciated.
Thank you

Here is an astonishing amount of FREE information on gold and gold prospecting in Arizona:

AZGS | Mineral Resources | Gold Prospecting

Be very aware of private property! The mine may be "old" or otherwise appear to be abandoned - that doesn't mean it doesn't still belong to someone. Learn the laws, rules and regulations. And be very, very careful!

Good luck to all,

The Old Bookaroo
