There is a club in Downey if any of you are interested. They have been around since 1966.

I used to go a few years back, but then I got a job that conflicted with the meetings and outings. I plan on going back, though, now that my job does not interfere too much.

There is also Orange County 49ers meeting in Garden Grove.

But why would you want to start a new one?
Did you have a bad experience with one of the existing ones?

I would think it better if you could throw your volunteerism to
an already established club rather than start an opposing club.
We only have enough time to go to so many meetings a month as it is.
