Been doing a lot of traveling to the beaches in fla. the last few months lookin for the yeller stuff.
I do coin shooting around here to pay for the trips
I use the Minelab E-Terra 70 and the Garrett Infinium but about to purchase the Minelab Excalibur II to replace it.

I am having the same problem. Tomorrow I am going to Chattahoochee National Forest. It is legal to do recreational metal detecting and you can also pan for gold.
I probably wont find anything but least I wont get busted or shot.

Relic hunting and metal detecting is illegal in every state park in Georgia if I'm not mistaken.
