I'm a relatively new detector and I am looking to get out of public parks and taking my detecting to a level with more depth and history. It would be neat to start a club, just as another user posted some years ago on here. I didn't even know this website existed until the right amount of key words brought it up. I have a few spots by the Wabash River I want to check out. It's my first time that I've done such in depth research. I have a feeling my hunt may prove fruitless, it is my first experience going to a secluded forest area so hopefully I can learn something.

Let me know if there is anyone out there interested.:hello:

UndulatingCoast, this is not my first time seeing your post. Even tho I'm not interested in a club I should have seen it was your first post and welcomed you to T-Net. For that Sir, I apologize. This is a wonderful site with amazing people in all hobbies. So when you venture off the beaten path and you do find some keepers, there are several different places you can post them. Once again welcome to T-Net. GL & HH. SD
