I've not detected those areas, but it's a old area and many old homesites throughout the woods.

well hello all you awesome mainers ;];];] well im a northern bird from aroostook county ;];] i have a whites coinmaster and now by chance... a tesoro silver.. as of this past wkend from a yrd sale ..FREE !!! they said it was broke and it was heading to the trash land!!! so cleaned it up scuffed the coonectors ..put in a fresh battery and tried it out yesterday yep it works;];];];] new to detecting.. and this forum of treasurenet. i was re directed to here last nite;];];] im excited..;];];]cant wait to get to know you all.;];];] the only 1 i did know of was maniac maine hes down your ways;];];] dont know anyone this far north..they say its " lonely at the top" yup it is lololololol hope to hear from you all ;];];]

thank you i couldnt believe it AFTER i researched it and came onto this forum....i had no idea how popular this detector was/ is.. i thought it was a kids detector honestly ..man was i shocked!!! i asked around my town if anyone detects... nope nuthing to detect..they are more into gardening and yrd sales up here...or traveling ... works for me;];];];];]
