Don't really know if Howard County coints as southern MD, but I'm close enough. Not old enough to drive, so I can't really attend clubs or meetings. I'm interested if my mom/dad can drive me there. Would it be a weekly thing? Once a month is more doable for me, especially if it is more than a half hour away. I may be 14, but I'm not a noob. Despite never having found a silver coin with a metal detector, I'm pretty knowledgable about mine and hunting. Even though I have never found a silver does not mean I never will...

Hey I am in Gaithersburg and have been detecting for a little over a year. Mostly just beaches though. I have the Ace 350 so basically the same as yours. I would be happy to drive down to you guys and we can all learn as we go. Let me know if your interested. Side note: I would be more interested when the weather gets above 30 degrees lol.
