New to MD'ing in MS!

Hello fellow Mississippians. I recently purchased an Ace 250 and took my first steps in this amazing hobby. I've only been out a few times with minimal success but have had a great time in the process. Anyhow, I just wanted to say hello and find out if there are any clubs or fellow metal detecting enthusiasts in the Brookhaven or southwest MS area? Also any tips from veteran hunters are welcomed. Haha! Happy hunting.

36 years. My whole life other than some odd years here and there that work carried me away.

Yeah my brother still lives there. I am trying to get a job down there so we can move back. I hope to hear something from it next month. Praying for it. My name is terry case. I lived down there until about 2003 or so and moved back for a couple of years then ended back up here at amory again

Sorry, I'm terrible about checking my post. My name is Jeremy Orr. Like I said Ive lived in Brookhaven my whole life and know a ton of Case's. Have you done much MDing around the this area?

No I just got started into it. I live in amory ms right now. I would like to find some people to go with. If I get back down there we need to try to go find some stuff.

I sure will my little boy loves to go. He is only 5 but he is hooked.

I don't think Brookhaven has very many MDing enthusiasts which makes its parks and recreational areas decent hunting grounds. Antebellum home sites and history are also plentiful here but getting permission to hunt could be an issue. (I've never asked) If there is any interest in Brookhaven or anywhere in south MS let me know and we'll try to get something together. I also have a 5 year old that likes to hunt for "treasure" so that's not an issue for me.
