Gold and silver Spanish coins I hear were found on Strathmere Beach since a dredge replenishing in 2008 I believe. My 3.5 hour hunt, pretty thorough at the north end of the beach at low tide this past Saturday came up empty, just a couple of pennies. Some of the dunes had been cut away by tides, but nothing there at the edges for sure. Msg me if you've searched this area and would like to see my GPS hunt map. Happy to trade leads too.
