Hot Spots Or Leads on Long Island

Hey! Does anyone know of any hotspots or leads on Long Island?? I hit one of the beaches yesterday and covered about the whole thing (in about 5 and a half hours...) I found a pull tab, some foil, a bottle cap, 2 clad eagle quarters, and Idaho state quarter, and 2 memorial pennies. And there were 3 other MD'ers at that beach. I'm gonna try to hit a different beach on tuesday if I can. Any spots or leads would help! Thanks! 8)

It has been said that 90% of this hobby is research and I could not agree more. A great place to start is your local library. Research your town, look up old photos and micro-films...dig into the books and maps first and your dirt digging may yield a better return.
