There is one in Salisbury. A buddy of mine at work went to one of their meetings and is thinking about joining. I'll get the info tomorrow and post it.

Im always looking for new places and people to detect with....as long as its not nowhere near the I 85/Yadkin River crossing ;D

Hello, I just started panning a couple weeks ago here in NC. I live in ther High Point, Winston Salem, Greensboro area. I also own a wal mart special metal detector that I have found ruffly a dollars worth of change and a ton of scrap metal with. LOL I would be interested in any gold hunting groups or detecting groups in the area that have been started.

The name of the club in Salisbury is Carolina Historical Association. I went to the meeting last Thursday and joined. They hold meetings the 4th Thursday of every month. Having a club hunt the 15th of Oct.

I dont have any contact info yet........but when I get my newsletter I'll update.

The July meeting is Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 9:00 am. We are meeting at the historic Mendenhall Plantation in Jamestown, NC. The address is 603 Main Street, Jamestown, NC. We hope everyone will be able to attend. We will be discussing the following:

I live in Asheboro. I'm new to prospecting, so far I'm just a blacksand prospector. I would love to find somebody to go panning,sluicing, or detecting with. Tried talking my wife into panning but between my 4 year old and her IPad she's always busy��
