Welcome ! I've been to Washingtonville Fair grounds once for a Detecting Club hunt.
That was many years ago. I see the Susquehanna Vally Metal Detecting club
was back there last year.

I am fairly new to the hobby/addiction/drug of choice of metal detecting/relic hunting/dirt fishing, so I haven't had the opportunity to get in to any local hunts, I still need to learn a lot about my new machine I just got last week. I actually found a stash of zinc mason jar lids with the ceramic inserts still intact under a bed of concrete... Time to rent an excavator and see what's down deep!!!!!

Washingtonville is a great place, lots of old farms and an old trade route for farmers... Tons of old stuff waiting to be uncovered!!!!
