North Texas Rookie

I am new to metal detecting and looking for people to go out hunting with. I live in Saginaw but am originally from Muenster, Texas. I would like someone who can show me the ropes to the hobby but don't mind if you are also new and just want to learn on the go.

Welcome! It's pretty slow on the forum right now but don't let that discourage you. There are many detectorists in the metroplex that don't post here much. I would recommend joining a club-you'll meet lots of interesting people and learn the hobby a lot faster!

Try going to school tot-lots,easy to dig and most fines are anywhere from 1-6 inches.
